Foreign income brought into Thailand by Wealthy Global Citizens, Wealthy Pensioners and Work-from-Thailand Professionals is exempt from Thai income tax. The visa also covers a legitimate spouse, children under 20 and parents.
Four categories and their thresholds
BOI thresholds are the same for every nationality. Three categories have a main income threshold and a lower one with extra conditions; Wealthy Global Citizens have no income requirement and qualify on capital.

Every category also needs health insurance with at least USD 50,000 of cover, or a USD 100,000 deposit instead.
How it works

Category check
We look at your income, capital, age and employer and see which BOI threshold you meet.

BOI application
The application is filed online with the BOI; the qualification review itself is free of charge.

Endorsement
The BOI's stated time is 20 working days once the file is complete.

Visa
Within 60 days: in Bangkok at TIESC, or as an e-Visa through the Thai embassy for your country of residence.
Costs
The visa fee in Thailand is THB 50,000 per person for 10 years. Embassies abroad charge by their own rules, usually more, and the e-Visa fee is not refunded. Our help starts at THB 20,000; fees are paid separately.

Tell us which category you are aiming for, your income or capital, and the country you live in now. Those three answers show whether you meet the BOI thresholds and where it makes sense to collect the visa.
Our help starts at THB 20,000; the visa fee is paid separately. Once the file is complete, the BOI's stated review time is 20 working days, and requests for more documents add to it. The BOI and the Thai authorities decide; we prepare the file and run the application.
